Back Stretches, HELP!!! (ballet)?

My ballet teacher told me that I have a naturally tight back which is why my arabesque isn't very high. So I guess I need to do stretch out my back, but I don't know any back stretches. Got any good ones??

practice back bends and stuff. then also do your splits and arch back while your in them...its REALLY good for arabesque...

another thing you can do is get an office chair where you can adjust the height. stand in front of a wall (about a foot away) facing it. have the the chair on the lowest height it goes and put your leg on it as if you were doing arabesque. if that's easy for you, have someone adjust the height so that its to the point where you feel yourself resisting it. (make sure they adjust the chair height slowely so you dont get injured). hold that for a few minutes and then do the next leg. do that 2-3 times a day...and try to go a little higher every week.
