i always wanted to do ballet, but never have. when i first go to a dance place do they tell me what to do? and tell me what i need to get? i'm 15. do they put us in age groups? and if they do would they put beginners in with people that have already been doing it?

It depends on the type of studio you have in the area.
I would go to your yellow pages and start calling different dance studios.
Tell them you are interested, some may suggest an adult beginniner course.
Also go visit them in person to see what the teacher is like and the class is like.
